Weekly claims are process for those employees who have recently experienced a job loss, benefits are applied for through the website or by phone.
To apply over the internet, file your Webcert at https://secure-2.dllr.state.md.us/webcert/Logon.aspx by entering your Maryland unemployment login credentials over a secure connection.
Before attempting to login to the application you will be required to setup a PIN on Webcert (online) or Telecert (phone) to use with the system.
Submissions are accepted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week unless the filing system is otherwise noted to be offline in the announcement section of the website.

Claims are accepted between Sunday to Friday and can be filed on any day except for Saturday. Certifications for a claim are required to be send online no later than 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.
UI claims are processed exclusively through Webcert in Maryland. All information submitted should be error free and accurate. Purposely including wrong information in a claim is fraudulent.
