The Kentucky unemployment login page on KEWES.ky.gov is for online benefits filing by employees seeking insurance in the state who have lost their job.
KEWES is Kentucky’s Electronic Workplace for Employment Services where individuals can submit a weekly claim for UI coverage.
Claimants can start at https://uiclaims.des.ky.gov/ebenefit/ which is the secure area of the website and enter their Kentucky unemployment login user identification.
User identification credentials included a SSN with no dash or space in it, and a 4 digit PIN that includes numbers only.
Resources have been placed at the bottom to assist KEWES users with resetting a lost PIN or one they have forgot. Help is also available visiting one of the office locations near you or calling the 502-875-0442 phone number.
Support for the Electronic Workplace for Employment Services website is available Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Sunday’s time changes to 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. All times are in EST.
To file a online claim you will be required to enter your Kentucky unemployment login, SSN, mailing address, the contact information of all employers in the last 18 months, and your beginning and ending dates of work.
Sessions must be completed within 30 minutes. Amounts over 30 minutes will cause your connection to become idle and time out, forcing you to sign in again.
KEWES is meant only for filing on the internet through a secure connection Sunday to Friday. No claims are accepted on Saturdays due to system maintenance.
The Focus Career Job registration comes included with a login to KEWES. Focus participants can search for a job and submit an application to employers who are hiring.
Employees qualified for WIA must meet age, income, skill testing, and circumstances of work when searching for a job change. Benefit levels may change to financial aid in some training programs.
Contact the local Career Center to find out more or visit the website and enter your Kentucky unemployment login to apply online.
